Looking after the environment from the very beginning, that tiny brown bean which is naturally nutrient-rich is also one of the most environmentally friendly plants at its very core.
With strong tap roots that can reach depths of 4metres, the jojoba plant is drought tolerant and can thrive in desert like conditions. As well as requiring very little water to survive the plant is relatively pest free which allows us to let the plant grow without interfering with chemical sprays. The biggest environmental factor is that the jojoba plant is carbon negative meaning it takes more carbon from the atmosphere than most other plants.
Our Wadi Wadi jojoba spans over 80 hectares on Beresford Farm located in the Australian Riverina region. The area is known worldwide for its fertile soils which in turn boosts the quality of our Wadi Wadi creating the premium golden liquid you see on shelves.
The Jojoba Company also loves all creatures great and small, so we would never test on our cuddly friends and are extremely proud to bare the cruelty free logo on each of our first-class products.
We also love to give back to our native wildlife and currently have been supporting the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital in NSW, helping give care to injured and abandoned koalas.
Additionally, we are vegan friendly and alongside of only using the highest quality ingredients found botanically, we also ethically source and only select sustainable ingredients.
All of our packaging is also 100 percent recyclable so you too can help the earth by popping your empty TJC products in your curb side recycling bin.
We take our corporate responsibility seriously and know that there is more we could be doing to be kinder to our earth. We are constantly improving and looking for ways to lessen our footprint whilst still providing you with the premium product you all love so much.
Happy Earth Day to our TJC family!
